This pendant, plated in 18k gold, is called the "eye of the blue lotus" and is inspired by a monocle from the late Victorian era and the craze of the Tutenkaimen tomb of the early 20th century. It has heart shape cut lapis lazuli drops on my newest chain. I love this chain. Length at 22" with iconic lock charm.
The piece is inspired by the female, Egyptian Pharaoh Hatshepsut of the, 5th pharaoh of the 18th dynasty. She wore the beard of a male Pharaoh and altered her image to be more masculine. She was the most prolific builder in Egyptian history.
