Multi stone drop, 18K gold plated dangle earring

This gold plated pendant has a modern design with its roots in the Egyptian movement of the art deco period.

Suspended from the pendant is a multi stone cluster of aqua and teal kyanites.

The piece is inspired by the female, Egyptian Pharaoh Hatshepsut of the, 5th pharaoh of the 18th dynasty. She wore the beard of a male Pharaoh and altered her image to be more masculine. She was the most prolific builder in Egyptian history.
