This 18mm, faceted gemstone is set in bronze and cradled in gently sculpted petals, suspended off of French wires.
The piece is inspired by Goddess Melissae, Goddess of honey. She was a secondary goddess that was taught the power of honey from bees and fed Zeus as a baby. All nymphs are sometimes called Melissae.
