This delicate, statement earring is inspired by the Egyptian revival movement of the 1920's. Light weight and dramatic it is the perfect balance of both worlds. The 18K gold. bar is balanced by a center briolette stone of rhodolite quartz and framed by two smaller pink labradorite briolettes.
The earrings are inspired by the female, Egyptian Pharaoh Hatshepsut of the, 5th pharaoh of the 18th dynasty. She wore the beard of a male Pharaoh and altered her image to be more masculine. She was the most prolific builder in Egyptian history.
